À propos de Parsonic
Parsonic est une police display inspirée des « Lettres ecclésiastiques », une pépite dénichée dans un livre de spécimens de 1895 de la fonderie française S. Berthier & Durey. Ancrée dans le dessin d’époque, Parsonic donne un tour contemporain au charme orné de son ancêtre historique. Son détail le plus marquant ? Des empattements finement ouvragés qui donnent à chaque lettre une présence bien à elle.
La police propose un jeu de bas de casse richement dessiné et une solide collection de petites capitales, de quoi ouvrir un vrai terrain de jeu typographique. Pour pousser le plaisir plus loin, Parsonic ajoute deux styles supplémentaires : un italique dynamique et une fantaisie oblique inversée, parfaits pour varier les compositions. Une version variable va encore plus loin.
Parsonic puise dans l’esprit du dessin de caractères parisien du XIXe siècle, avec une pointe d’attitude moderne, pour un jeu de caractères aussi sophistiqué qu’audacieux.
